My Red MiniI have already had a couple of astute ebayers asking as I forgot to add to the description that obviously it has been reshelled at some point in time, I don't know when it was done as I bought the car like this, in fact as a newbie to recent mini trends I didn't even know it had been reshelled until reading this forum whilst researching how to install the Metro engine it currently has and thanks to those that helped there.
The reality is I am reducing my car count as I have four at the moment we need a proper 5 seater hatchback for the school run or a small MPV so the Mini and one or maybe both of my Rovers are going. I am keeping my E30 Cabriolet though!
We are looking at buying something brand new. I have investigated the scrappage scheme frankly it is a bit of a farce I will be far better off seling the Mini for £1000 -£1400 we looked at buying a Fiat Panda and for cash it got the discounted price down to £400 above the Scrappage price which is based on full retail! but that was an exception most dealers will knock off £800 -£1000 with no Scappage or PX.
