Yes dont worry, dont know what that post above is all about. It clearly states its for breaking.Anyway what condition is the whole car in?? Doesnt look to bad from the pictures but pics can be deceiving.
That's how I bought it. But someone had sprayed over rust and most of it was held together with a resin! So I set about welding all the bad bits including sills, inner wing, inner a posts, drivers floor panel ETC!
I think I'm likely to get more for breaking it. The interior is in very good condition. And the alloys are OK too. The engine is a 1.3 carb with about 70K or 80K (I need to verify that). The log book confirms it is the limited edition Italian Job and the plate adds something to it. The doors look good too as does the boot.
As a project, it needs spraying and all the lights put back on . The interior refitted. And probably a lot more!!
You are right about the pictures though. It was for sale in a garage at 1500. After a look around I got him down to 900. I paid too much for it really bearing in mind I knew what damage there was but I was drawn by the number plate, the limited edtition and the (then) forthcoming 50th anniversary. Ultimately I want a pre 72 mini and I thought this would be a way of funding one. Oh well. Live and learn and all that.
