Thought it was about time i started a thread for my project.
Currently my mini (Healy) looks like this...
Posted Image
With a standard 1275 A+ apart from an LCB and single box exhaust system.
On the interior centre binacle dash and metro seats.

The idea is a full transformation to a classic rally look.
The colour will be staying as it is in Maroon.
I spent ages writing out all the bits i plan to put on but then decided it would be better to update as i go.
Anyway so the parts i have to go on/am fitting at the moment are as follows

-New road/rally cones
-Genuine hilo's
-New knuckle joints
-AGX evolution dampers
-Adjustable camber lower arms
-Heavy duty adjustable tie rods
-Spitfire TRE's
-New driveshafts and cv's(inner and outer)
-New front hub assemblies
-7.5\" grooved discs
-Green stuff pads
-Minispares alloy 4 pot clipers
-Minifins (already fitted)
-Adjustable camber and tracking brackets

Will take pictures of what i've got done so far on sunday.

Ordered quite a few parts this week
As can be seen he's currently on 13's with sportspacks which won't do for this build...
So after much deliberation i've ordered a set of six wheels which will be revealed when they come through.
Needless to say they are tens :D
Also ordered some yoko A008's, Group 2 arches, a Mk1 Austin cooper grill kit and two bonnet straps.
The arches from huddersfield came through today which i was very impressed with as i only ordered them yesterday.

Anyway sure i've missed some things but i will update with the all important pictures and bit's tomorrow.

EDIT: Forgot to mention i got a bit carried away on ebay this afternoon and bought this

Don't want to say how much i got it for

Cheers mate.
Yeah saw a couple of mini's with that centre at south west mini show and just needed to get one.
Really looking forward to these bits turning up.
Can't wait to get it sitting on tens.
Hopefully everything going smoothly i'll be ready to fit them next weekend.
I'm undecided on the arches.
I think i'll trial fit them black then see, might end up having to paint two body colour to decide ha.

Hey, car looks great, I like the plan you've got.

I saw that steering wheel on ebay, was very tempted to buy it myself!

Cheers guys.
The main objective is to keep the quility of everything as high as possible.
And put as many original period parts as possible on it.
Can't wait to see the steering wheel in the flesh.
Will get some pictures up of some of the parts i've got so far to go on.

Today got all of the parts to be replaced off of the car ready for the new bit's to go on.
Looks really bare with only the upper arms left in the arches.
Fitted the new cones, hilo's and knuckles.
Would've got more done but spent an age trying to get the pot joints out.
Might have to invest in the proper tool as i've had no luck at all with the bar and hammer method.
Once i've got them out hopefully everything will go back together smooth enough.
Unfortunately by the time i finished up it was dark so no pictures yet.
Will try to get some tomorrow. Hopefully with a bit more progress.

Lol, looking forward to it.

That makes two of us. Can't wait.

Ben the calipers are from minispares.

Cheers Rob means a lot.
Yep he's been really spoilt over christmas.
Bank balance is looking rather sorry now but should be well worth it.
Will be really pleased when it's all back together.
And yes will be trying to get to as many shows as possible.
Was hoping to get to bingley but at the moment it doesn't look like i'll make it.
Either due to the Healy not being ready or my lack of money.

Will have a small update later, a couple of packages turned up today.
A few pictures of healy's current state.
And a review of bits i still need to do to get back on the road on tens :D
