Blu-Min is a 1994 Mini Sprite 1275 Auto. I must say, I got hooked quickly - a great, fun car to drive. However, in December she developed some issues and had to be taken off the road.
So here is the plan (if you are of the 'save the autos' brigade - go some place else now!)....
Swap engine and gearbox for a 1275 manual
full auto -> manual convertion
New petrol tank + sender unit
New interior + centre console
New dash + dials and guages
Sort the stereo setup
New headlights
New exhaust
+1001 other little jobs along the way!
Blu-Min last year...
After a trip to Wales on a cold December night we had our donor car....
Then all work stopped during the snow until last week when both Blu-min and the donor car started getting stripped...
