Have a look at this:

http://www.trademe.c...n-276304244.htm

looking at a free car report - I would say it is all accurate, has done around 130,000miles.

This would be a great buy for someone who wants to sort out a Mk1, stored for 13 years, looks to be pretty original other than 1000cc motor installed.

Nice!
I've got family friends over in NZ and they sent me an article from their newspaper about the NZ Mini Club, or something along those lines anyways! Nice to see the cars so popular so far away from home.
I hope to come out to NZ, whether I'll stay permanently or not I don't know, but atleast I know it'll feel like home if I bring my Pickup over (I guess Pickups are quite rare out there, just as they are over here)
Dan

Yes the Mini clubs are pretty strong here, and remember back in the 60s and 70s you could only buy British made /NZ assembled cars, so Minis, Escorts, Triumphs etc were the majority of cars running around until British Motor Corporation started importing Hondas, then we got flooded with Japanese cars. NZ was the first country to buy used Japanese imports, so they soon killed a lot of old cars off. But... it seems a lot of cars have survived in sheds etc - so still a lot around.

I have only seen a couple of mini utes over the years, more travellers etc.

NZ is a great place to live, your money is worth less if you travel overseas, but otherwise, a nice place to be.

Seriously jealouse having just looked up conversion rates. Unfortunately shipping could throw a spanner in the works.
