Hello all

Does a Filter King need to be mounted close to the carb in the engine bay? or can you mount it in the boot.

The reason I ask is im looking to purchase an alloy bracket which mounts a Facet fuel pump and Filter King and therefore was going to mount the bracket in the boot. But im sure that almost ever Filter King I have seen fitted to a mini is always mounted in the engine bay.

Many thanks

Kevin

Engine bay. the fuel should be only regulated as near to the. Carb as poss or the flow is reduced.

Most are mounted on the bulkhead or inner wing/subframe big bolt area.
