Hi, today i went over something and all of the blades of my radiator fan broke off!! nothing else is damaged so i thought it would be a quite easy self fix! I was quoted £150-200 for a garage to do it which I am definately not paying if I can do it myself! lol
I got a replacement fan on ebay for 12.00 it looks fairly easy to do but i was wondering if anyone could give me a quick how to guide to make sure I dont pull out anything stupid!!
as a very under experienced girl in the world of mini repair I would love any help anyone could give!!
Thanks a lot

Welp, the hardest part will probably be getting the radiator out, well the bottom hose anyway.
Undo the radiator pipes, then undo the 4 bolts that hold the radiator to the cowl (be two to the front and two to the rear of the engine bay). Then wiggle the rad out, probably have to the take the radiator top mount off or just unbolt it (goes from thermostat housing to radiator cowl).
With the rad out and cowl top mounts undo you then need to undo the bottom cowl bolt or you can leave it be and just undo the 4 fan bolts. Slacken them with the fan belt on, then loosen the alternator and take the belt off. Fan hold on the pulley to the pump so its a good idea to loosen the belt first.
Then take the fan off, bolt the new one on the same way.
Edit
Also, £150+ is way too much.

Take the the top brace plate off push the rad over to one side and reach in and undo all the bollts.
The reason they are charging so much is the labour cost. I bet they are charging £80per hour.

Only 2 spanners and one long socket needed, hardest part is the bottom pipe and clip.
