Ive purchased a set of second hand ultralites. Two have decent yokohomas on them. I was planning to refurb them but i e read that some which have a big offset are impossible to get tyres onto. How can I tell

Most aftermarket wheels have this issue.
Its virtually impossible to fit the tyre in the conventional way without damaging the rim or destroying the tyre.
The way around this is usually to flip the rim over so the tyre is fitted from the back of the rim rather than the front. Hope this helps and makes sense ?

mount the wheels upside down. tyres will go on and off fairly easy that way. just done a set.
