Will a rev counter from the 3 clock dash work with electronic ignition? E.g. a k series
Aug 07 2017 12:38 PM
-
Will16
Cheers guys, hmmm thats strange, imo I would have thought one from a MPI would work on a k series as they are both full injection systems
Aug 08 2017 03:23 PM -
ukcooper
mpi uses a coil pack and sends a twin signal or summit like that, all other mini just a coil
Aug 08 2017 08:59 PM -

Wasted spark ignition on MPi so two pulses per rev

Is -3 deg camber possible on the front of a mini, or will driveshafts start popping out?!

Once I get mine all set up I'm going for max 2.5 as I've already had the fixed 2 degrees arms.

Would 3mm plate be too thick to reinforce the front floor, ala solid subby mounts

It was meant as tongue in cheek haha, my laughing face got replaced with those question marks! I think I'll just try it, with acid etch primer.

I just use regular paint from a spray can. Stayed on for years.

My hilo's are wound right down and my new cones still have a 2" arch gap, someone tell me it'll settle?!
Sep 06 2016 07:14 PM

MIGLIACARS
some of those new cones are not made correctly and lift the car miles to high, I had the issue with the ones from p&l minis before took them off in the end.
Sep 07 2016 02:23 PM -
Will16
don't say that!
Sep 07 2016 06:23 PM -
New game mini
My new cones have never really fully settled, as above I've heard a lot about more recent cones making the car sit too high. Hopefully yours will after a while tho.

I meant getting to the bolt that tucked up under the scuttle, and fitting the nylon washers all in place at the same time! Speedo cable is easy with no inner wings ;) and the clutch master cylinder was a utter ******* too!

And the gear linkage roll pin is easy peasy with a watch makers screwdriver
