Hi, after doing my own service i seem to have this lack of power feeling, when i start to accelerate the car feels like i need to pull out the choke, but then seems okay again until i slow down then accelerate again?? the old oil was rough, was wondering if its because the new oil is filtering through? it didnt do it before the service. i didnt get round to the new spark plugs as i couldnt undo the old ones? could it be this? what have i done wrong??
whats up??

Sounds like it needs a little tune, but would be an idea to change the plugs, and maybe check the points/gap, also ideally the plug leads should be changed routinely

What did you do in the 'service' - it's nothing to do with the oil - what else did you do ?

I did put a new air filter in, didnt realise that you could just take the lid off, i took the complete housing off, was abit of a bugger to put back on, didnt want to sit over this silver foil thingy?? i took car out yesterday i ran on the choke for a good 5 mins then slowly put choke back in, seemed ok, so maybe i shouldnt be in such a hurry to run without the choke..
