Whats up guys? My names Matt and am from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. I recently got a mini for free. I've been asking the people for 3 years now. Long story short, the son(the real owner) told me that I could have it for free because he has no time for it anymore. The engine is rebuilt and does run. There was some rust but he cut it out already. I believe its a MK2 based on pictures.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! The mini won't be home for a few weeks(2 week) I'm going on vacation and bringin it home with me. I'll make sure to make a thread about it with tons of pics :grin:

but seriously welcome to the site! nice to see another albertan on here! just ask me if you have any questions about the "mini scene" in alberta.... or canada for that matter. I live in sherwood park (just outside edmonton) and have two 1973's. maybe we could go for a cruise sometime when we get our minis going?

Thanks guys, I was mistaken on the MK part. Its a MK2.... Which if I don't hurt any feelings, I prefer more :tongue:
