ho hard is it to change a clubby front in to what i would call a normal mini front.
heard theings about having to cut and shave bits off and fit a flip front, but is there any way of keeping the price down but making the mini looking tops.

i have a suspision that teh bulck heads are differant, so it could be difficult.

I believe you have to cut away the inner wings, but apart from that it should fit ok.

yea, well theres the inner wings,wings and front pannel, youle also need all the other round nose bits, head lights indicator lenses and grille,
ohh and a bonnet might be nice missed that out!

OK, just wondered if they were different because I know its easier to fit a rover V8 to a clubby......

thats usually more to do with the space higher up, because of the front end being a different shape. The V8 with a princess gearbox isn't much wider than an A-series at the bottom, but as you go up obviously it widens out because of the banks of cylinders, and then you gotta think about alternator, radiator etc - so the Clubby is much better suited to fitting a bigger engine.
Its nice to be able to set the timing on a Mini without taking the grille off - Clubbies all the way!!
