Hello all you Mini nuts, just joined the forum

Let me talk a bit about myself and the future plans for my latest Mini.

Well I first tinkered with a Mini when I was 15, the Mini was my mates and was a bit of a shed by all accounts. I then bought my own at 17 it was an old 76 P reg and it to was a bit of a shed. Tried again with an 83 A reg which ended up being accident damaged and all twisted. The wife( girfriend at that time) bought an L 94 reg which we done all the bolt on mods and put out 80bhp, not bad for a standard bottom end. In 2002 it started to become not so much unreliable but inconvenient and sold it and bought a Seat Arosa as the main use. Anyways we've always missed the mini and I've been building a special 16valve/ turbo A serries engine in the garage just as something to stimulate the grey matter, so decided to get another Mini as a third car to put the thing in. And so we are now at where we are, an M 95 reg with sports pack. Still at the moch up stage of the engine which I'm not going to give too much away because its a bit of a secret other than to say it will be 1275cc, 16valves, ECU for fuel injection and ignition, and seriously considering a turbo as well, :cheese: who cares about reliability when its this much fun building it

Welcome & enjoy, but if you feel tempted put a thread in the Projects section. It's always good to hear about peoples experiments.

welcome to the forum!

Your plan sounds excellent, but as guessworks says, put a post up in the projects section if you want to - plans like this are few and far between!

enjoy!!
