I own a 1979 pick up with 1275 Metro engine and a few speakers in the back. Had the car 15 months and spent the time improving it and getting it back to the sort of condition it was when rebuilt in 1997.
I have added discs, adjustable suspension, and am generally working through a long list.
Got interested in Minis though my kids, son who has a 1980 Mayfair?Cooper 1130, and daughter who has a 1981 Clubman and a 1970 van in restoration.
Have done a number of runs through last and this year. :grin:

I wish my 1979 Pick-Up was in the same condition as yours!
Have fun browsing the forum - to post pics up you'll need some pics of the car on your pooter', then click 'browse' at the bottom of the message post screen (when you're writing a message), and find the pic, then click 'upload', and hey presto, job done!

7 x 13 deepdished superlites wheel arches look similar (flushed in to the body) the overall look of the two is not that different! :tongue:Sorry, where's the resemblence, other than they are both pickups?! :erm:

Dude, I think having the exhaust right behind your seat in your bogey is not a good idea, the fumes are obviously gettin to you!!
