I'm at it again with "The Miesel" ......................I was driving a vehicle the other day and thought Holy $uite, what is this beast!!!!!!! Must do something revolooshunairy!!!!! :cry:

In engleesh that relates to 100 horsies, 0-60 less than 8secs, 50+ mpg round town, 80+ mpg long run, worth having a crack at eh?????????? :teehee: :withstupid:

Turbo lag almost non-existant, and vauxhall combo van I drove was like $**t of a $h0v3l. woooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! :(

I'm a nutter I know but it's gotta be done hasn't it? :) Watch this idiocy unfold!!!!!!! :techsupport:

and i've seen a diesel pickup in a mini mag before, and i think that was a Vauxhall too. :(

Not sure, I could be making it up but I think it was a 1.4 pug/citreon engine wasnt it?

the diesil was a metro diesil, useing the metro sub frame.

its a tu engine.

Sounds a bloody great idea. If it was me, id use a peugeot Partner 1.6Hdi motor. They are superb and stock knock out 200lb/ft of torque between 1500-2500rpm and has about 100 bhp too. Even with a few tools in the back of mine it would red face a Type R 0-40 which is usually about the distance from one set of lights to the other. Just hold the car/van on the clutch to get the boost up, select 1st, 2nd gear in the wet and proceed to give it beans!!!! Remap it and youll have 250lb/ft in a 650/700 killo car

1.7 isuzu engines are popular with the drag boys - very reliable and the boost can be easily upped. not made by GM so :thumbsup:

Isn't that the engine they put in the old Combos? We had an old Combo which had a 1.7 Isuzu diesel, but it wasn't turbo charged and it only did 85mph. Is it the same engine?
