Hi all,
new on here obviously, anyone on here from the brighton mini club? if so you possibly know the car if you've been there for a few years, its the GF's P-reg cooper, flame red and known as ez although the GF's called becca). she used to hang around at the meets from time to time around 3 years ago or so.

Didn't think I had any uploaded as i'm at work but have just come across 1 with my mk1 golf GTi and the mini in it

standard 1.3 twin point injection at the moment, hopefully at some point i'll be fitting an LCB and RC40 etc.
it was built for the motorshow at the NEC in birmingham back in 97 (from what I understand), it was due to be shipped off to japan afterwards but the GF's old man bought it for her birthday present, and its been with her eversince. wasn't a special spec or anything, just the overriders etc half leather interior etc, clean top of the range cooper.
its gotten a little rusty where it lived on brighton seafront for 5 years and so the usual places need sorting, A-panels bottoms of the doors and under the headlights and windscreen, they just all have a little bubbling under the paint.
its kept its colour amazingly though, not faded at all like most red paints.

yeah ive had no problems with mine... except my boot, which appears to have been put on at a later date.its kept its colour amazingly though, not faded at all like most red paints.
