Hello everyone,
Contrary to popular belief, not everyone in Essex wears white socks and slingbacks (except at the weekend!).
Having bought my '96 Cooper Sportspack only a month or so ago, I've been eagerly scouring the web looking for useful websites about Minis. This one certainly fits the bill! So, having now signed-up, I thought it best to introduce myself. My name is Paul and I use the "kwacktastic" ID because I also have an interest in vehicles of the two-wheeled variety! A motorbike and a classic Mini - what more could a man want?!
I'll be embarking on a couple of new projects shortly, including having new sills and battery box fitted, fitting an LCB manifold and free-flow air filter, adding central locking, electric windows and a new hi-fi. I'll keep you posted on progress if you're interested, but feel free to pass on any handy hints and tips!
I've already fitted a Playmini exhaust (sounds fantastic!) and fixed a few (apparently common) faults like an irratic fuel guage, wheel bearing rumbles, stiff window mechanisms etc. so am now ready to start adding some toys!
Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading more of your posts.
Best regards.
Paul.

It's a Kawasaki 750 - it goes like a rocket but still doesn't give as many smiles per mile as the Mini!

Was going to say exactly the same as you Jimbo...
Kwacktastic lovely mini you have there, maybe you could do a walkthrough for fitting the eletric windows and central locking for the FAQ section?
