hi has anyone had any experience with the minisport ca2 camshaft in a 998 please
I have one fitted to my new engine and it seem lumpy cant get her to run smooth until she hits about 2000rpm
the engine has a 12g295 head lightened flywheel and 1 1/2 hs4 k&n cone filter aau needle
heated manifold lcb exhaust with a single box
i know it could do with a r&r session but cant afford it at the moment.
any help would be gratefully received

How did you time it in, using offset keys, or a vernier type pulley set? Or set using dots?

I don't know a great deal on the Minisport cams, but if they are similar to all other cams, timing in by using the dots id not sufficient, nor accurate, they need to be timed in using the settings supplied by the cam manufacturer
