Is it just me that thinks the guy in the garage is a bit iffy?

I'm not sure but it looked like he jacked the car up on the battery box, could have been the angle of the camera. EDIT: You can even hear him say he's jacking it up on the battery box.

He heated the bolt and then was shocked when the head twisted off, surely he should have heated the area around the bolt, not the bolt itself?

Then he's using a blow torch nice and liberally next to where the fuel pickup pipe (which is rubber) comes through the floor.

I wouldn't let him near my car!

If you listen carefully he actually says jack it up on the subframe, not the battery box

He does jack it up on the subframe but from the angle of the camera at first it looks like he is on the battery box.

Yeah just listened again, I got confused about who was talking, I thought the owner was correcting him, telling him to jack up on the subframe.

Still, with the torch, wouldn't want him working on my car.
