Hello all
Just been trying to wire up my Sony CD player, but i've realised i only seem to have one power cable which is switched by ignition. Where might I find a permanent feed as my cd player resets itself every time otherwise.
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers

Permanent feed must go directly to battery. I personally don't know where you could get a permanent feed around the dash area, since most things come on with ignition.
Just run a wire through the rear bulkhead and put it to the battery.

dont bother wiring anything straight to the battery..
you have a perfectly good fuse box with extra connections. just add an extra cable running from the fuse box, make sure that you put it on the right hand side of the fuse box, which is the outlet side, you can use a volt meter to see which fuses are permantlly live and which are ignition or switch fed....

hope this helps..
if you are going to wire dirrect to th ebattery, don't forget an in line fuse......

u will need to change the side that ur ignition wire goes into the cd player as this will affect the memory.... to solve this u normally switch between power feeds

when i wired my minidisc player, i used the live feed to the emergency flashers - it comes straight off the battery and is close to the radio. i cut the wire back in the loom, then ran to the radio and the flasher switch.
