Now, other forums i have been on are quite strict on how much people bump their threads, and to be honest, it's a little bit annoying.
Does anyone else think that the rate at which some people bump their threads is getting out of hand?

i would be put off as a buyer that something is still for sale 4 weeks and 100 bumps after it was first put on the site

cause everyone posts tonnes of threads on here, it will get lost easily

but if someone is looking for something they will go straight to the for sale section
I agree, if people want to find what you are selling, they will. There is no need to keep bumping the threads.
However if it is a thread related to a problem with certain seriousness, then it should be permitted, unless, the topic has been coverd before a few times.
