Mainly to the mods on this site, as a gneral observation, especially in the for sale area of this site, people are bumping their threads alot (hourly in some circumstances)

Now, other forums i have been on are quite strict on how much people bump their threads, and to be honest, it's a little bit annoying.

Does anyone else think that the rate at which some people bump their threads is getting out of hand?

if a thread needs lots of bumps then it's over priced

i would be put off as a buyer that something is still for sale 4 weeks and 100 bumps after it was first put on the site

I agree, if people want to find what you are selling, they will. There is no need to keep bumping the threads.

However if it is a thread related to a problem with certain seriousness, then it should be permitted, unless, the topic has been coverd before a few times.

I agree with people posting bumps, maybe every couple of days. BUMP - bring up my post - aka fetch a old post to the front again.

I pm anyone who i see bumping more then once a day and if it carries on and my message ignored, i will issue a warning. Its annoying and not nessecary!
