thanks for the tips. if i can ask a couple of things, i am trying to to fit a cigarate lighter as well, what is the wiring like. i am having a short circuit somewhere. the head lights & tail lights are constatly on even when switch off. somebody once said i put the wiring wrong at the fuse box for the headlights and tail lights. i can find where i wrote down the connections and how they are connected to the fuse box. do you know how and which wires go where on the fuse box?

Lights should be the 2nd fuse down (in a car with the 4-fuse box). All lights other than indicators and main beam flash should go through there.
