Hi all just got back from z cars, my new fibreglass shell is done just needs painting, as for the steel shell its up for sale if anyone was is intrested let me know

hi this fiberglass shell is it the minus looking shell or standerd looking mini just intrested...... and the stell shell how much and where do u live?????

hi,

the fibreglass shell is one they have had made for me. has i have now changed my frame so it has a monte carlo front end. Also the rear half of the shell lift off and the front end is now a flip front.

As for the steel shell make me an offer it has a v5 with it too, its on a k-reg (off the top of me head) and i live in manchester the sheel has the raised tunnel in which cost approx £250 from z cars

He also sent me a few pic of my car and how the new mods are going things are moveing along now, got to go up on monday and see it, then its off to paint

HI david there was nothing wrong with it i just wanted the monte carlo front end and a fibreglass shell.

hi are u having it as a road car tax an mot sva aswell as track????? your project is going the same way mine is intendid was up at z cars 2 weeks ago and seen the full size fiberglass shells so gonna go fiberglass aswell / v-tec. the sva thing is a bit scary at the mo....... doing all my home work it well all be worth it......nice work

HI all just got back from zcars, my car is looking good just got the last few thing to weld inplace the all can be apinted.

And yes to the last question the car will be fully road legal with an iva/sva test.

HI all, just a bit of an update. Well spent this morning up at zcars, got my frame back from powder coating and we got the engine sat in.

As I said last weekend, that is the shiniest engine/gearbox I have ever seen.

I am really looking forward to seeing the end result of this project, as seeing the standard of what you have previously built, it should be a beaut.

Hi all thanks for all ur comments so far.

Just got a few more pics now car it is sat on wheels, got the new monte carlo front end on too. Zcars tested my engine, which is a good thing i did not hear it running before i brought it. I hope it produce a little bit more power being out of a DC5 and not a civic The shell is coming alone too, should get paint in the next few weeks i hope, just got to get the last few carbon bit made up. Then we should have a running car.
