My Poor Neglected Clubby Rebuild And Vauxhall Conversion

put the bonnet and doors back on so i could line up the new panels.Out with my spot welder and job done .
found a mate had left me a can of zinc rich primer so gave the floors a coat of this, can't do any harm.
another mate is going to get me some stainless steel, should be able to make a new button for my modified handbrake. The plastic one looks ugly and sticks out too much anyway.took the bonnet and doors off again so i can turn the car over and paint the underside.Just need to get some people here to help me turn the car over.
got some questions if anyone knows the answers:
Will 8mm copper fuel lines (2x supply and return)be ok for the fuel supply?.
Can i use the corsa fuel pump and fit it in the spi tank i have.?
i am planning on getting a new wiring loom.Mine was the older type with the wing mounted solenoid and inertia starter.Would i be better off switching to the pre engagaed type loom or making my own.Maybe even using the corsa loom i have?
I figure i need the lambda sensor but mot man says ill need a cat. What have people done about this?
i am sure i will think of more stuff but i would like to run the fuel lines next week after it is painted underneath and then i will put the subframes back on.

The whole underside has been rubbed down, seam sealed, etch primed, stone chipped, painted in 2k jet black and had several coats of laquer.
the repainted rear subframe is in and now fitted with new radius arms, poly bushes, new brake back plates, new wheel cylinders, new braided brake lines, new coil overs, mintex shoes and minifin drums. All looking very nice!!.I have ran the brake line down the passenger side floor to the front as i will be relocating the bias valve on the bulkhead this side so it seemed easier to do it this way.I will be putting the fuel lines down the drivers side as i am told thats where they need to be.I might just take the nice blue fuel lines from the corsa i have sat here if i can make them fit.I took the x16xe out the corsa, but i have to say if i found a c16se at this point i would use that and go 16v at a later date.Only because i wan't it on the road and it would be far quicker to get it done with the 8v.
oh and i chopped off the drivers side rear quarter and replaced it.This was due to a dent i had ,it was right at the top where the panel curved and i found a very small rust hole appear in the lower corner near the subframe mount .Nothing major but figured 2 repairs on one panel it just isn't worth it .It was less than 30 quid for the new quarter and didn't take long to fit.
hopefully if i can get the allspeed frame built up tomorrow i will go and buy my new wheels this week.

Oh i also bought some 13x7's from the classified section. They won't be staying on the car but i thought they were a bargain .
turned the car over tonight so it now sits on its wheels and can be moved around.Blimey it looks like a landrover! gotta get that engine in quick and hope the suspension settles down.Talking of suspension i might have to move the brake pipe mount on the allspeed subframe. It looks like it will snap the adjuster off the spax shocker on the drivers side.I did turn the shocker round but then it catches on the top arm.
more pics anyway

Roy haynes designed the clubby front and he also designed the early escort and cortinas.I would love a mk1 rs but they are too expensive for me.However i think my clubby is well suited to some rs looks.Just need to find someone to make me the graphics.Oh and someone to photoshop it would be nice .I did ask you like a hundred times didn't i James.LOL.I have some cibbies ,gonna get some carbon bumpers made preferably quarter bumpers for the front.
