Right this is a bit of an abscure question... what is the thread in the top of the subframe (in the hole there where you pop the cone compressor tool) is it metric/unf or what ?

no problem .... what i have is a mini engined trike :dontgetit: and i have 2 aerials that i want to pop into the top of those holes to keep the crud out and also to make it look even dafter than it does at the moment.

i have a copious toolbox full of UNF/BSF/BSW/UNC etc etc etc i was hoping to save the trouble of fetching the lot home thats all.

a wild stab in the dark i would have put at about 3/4UNF

if youre interested ill dig a pic out of the old girl...started off with a numberplate, V5 and a slack handful of MOT's taken about 18months of weekends so far.

Way cool.. and certainly post some pictures... or even start a thread in the projects section...

could you just not weld a plate over the top or even one with a captive nut welded on the underside which could take the thread of a whip aerial ??
