just had my car resprayed and im wishin i kept the union jack roof :sad: . since my cars deseamed totally and ive got no roof guttering would it mean that i would have 2 have a lot more than the roof sparayed to get it blown in correctly. also i was thinkin about having it done in metal flake so it really sparkles in the sunlight. how much would this cost????? you could get the union jack air brushed, then have the metel flake added, the laquered. i've just done my roof and wheel arches in very fine metel flake. it cost ME £600 in laquer plus the base colours and the metel flake around£800 for materials, then it takes around 4 hours to laquer the panels because you've got to build the laquer over the metel flake (it doesn't always lie flat on the panel) once it's fully dried, you have then got to flat and polish the whole panel (another 2 hours) it is a lot of work but looks realy nice. so your looking around £1100 for it to be done spot on.
