ROIGHT :tongue: , the engine is almost completed and the spec is

-1312cc with High Compression pistons
-BP285 Piper Cam
-MG Metro Head ported(big time)/polished/skimmed(lightly)
-ported/polished water cooled inlet manifold
-Large Bore exhaust manifold
-55mm Exhaust pipe with a 55mm expansion chamber(at least that's how we call it here ) and a single 7'' long free-flow backbox.

-18/62 crownwheel-pinion combo on 145/80-10




The carb is HIF44.

I'm sure i'm gonna need a different needle but i would welcome some recommendations based on the spec of the engine.

A BDL is a good start, at least until you can get it to a rolling road. Its hard to tell what you'll need until its been run up on the rollers so they can see were its lean or rich.
