Afraid so, he was a little old ladys, she died and he was stuck in a garage for 6 years!!

She'd owned him for about 20years.

This is what he looked like when I got him.

Ace little car and was an early 1960 model, had the rear bin lights and everything.

I sold him to a guy in Northern Ireland, he drove there no problems.

Actually looking at the pics he did look special!!

It doesnt even tell you how many fit

"50th Anniversary celebration of the iconic British car, the Mini. At this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed/Revival Press Day, Lord March and Damon Hill attempted to see how many girls in mini skirts could fit into an orginal mini. Watch the video to find out how they got on...Oh, and by the way the total number was 12 Minis!" >_<

Well here's a recent snap of Damon Hill driving George Harrison's groovy psychedelic Mini Cooper S: -

Posted Image

With Ringo Starr as his passenger (even though Ringo also had his own groovy Mini Cooper S that got converted into a hatchback so he could carry his drum-kit): -

Posted Image

Everyone loves it too, but I don't know what happened to it's bonnet badge?: -

Posted Image

With George back in the strange and groovy days: -

Posted Image

Plus here's a great site I've just discovered with lots of other Beatles cars (plus even more Minis they owned): -

http://www.beatlebru...ticles/Cars.php

But of course there's this amazing site which is nothing but Minis: -

:dontgetit: :) >_<

The girl in green has very very nice legs!

Oh yes and err... I can't recover this can I.

*Hangs head in shame*

They are very nice though!

Don't hold back mate, just let it out and you'll feel much better for it.

>_<

Need you be reminded this is a family forum!

Plus I'd like to put forward the notion that they ALL have very nice legs! I certainly wouldn't kick any out of my Mini :)

If you're a real Ringo fan, then you must get the classic 1969 film called 'The Magic Christian' which he starred in with Peter Sellers. It's hysterical and absolutely mad and my wife and kids love it to bits and so did my mother when she watched it for the first time recently!: -

>_<

In fact, just about every big actor made an appearance in some form and even the Mini gets a mention by Sellers who sends up the Americans by saying we need to compete with them by producing huge cars and not Mini cars. Well it's just mad as both Ringo and Sellers were Mini owners/fans.
