I'm having problems with receiving my email notifications, I was using AOL mail and wasn't receiving them so I have just changed it to gmail and I am now getting notifications. With AOL I had not blocked the emails and I have checked my spam controls and there was nothing wrong there and I checked my email settings on here and everything was fine as well. So I was just wondering if any other members use AOL mail and have the same problems?

i have the same problem it was working ,then it suddenly stopped,and never worked since.

Thanks for the replies. I did contact admin on here because I didn't know what was going, I thought I might of done something to my settings on here but they told me check my spam settings with AOL so I doubled checked again and I look again last night and I haven't blocked them so I abit confused. AOL have blocked another one of my email that come Petrolprices.com and I had to re-registar there.

Now that you guys have said you have had the same problem, I think it's probably AOL. Don't you just love them???

My petrolprices.com is still working ok,and so is all the rubbish i get from facebook,so who knows,i think AOL has i mind of its own.

A quick update I have just contacted AOL about it, I will let you know what they say lol

I have stopped receiving email notifications since 20th May all was fine up till then, the email address works as I have just sent myself an email from another account. I do not delete the emails off the server for 3 months so just logged onto the server's webmail system & the 20th was the last email there.

Not AOL by the way.

EDIT:- I use Plusnet for the emails, just having a look at their site, they use some spam filtering, I have turned that off to see if the emails are being caught in that.

Just an update in case anyone is interested it would appear that the domain theminiforum.co.uk has been blacklisted as turning off the spam filter allowed the emails to come through. I've got round it by turning the filter back on again & then adding the domain to my personal white list, but it might be something someone wants to look at before it spreads to other filters.
