Ahh bugga,

heres a copy and paste of what the club management has said.

It has come to our attention that there has been a recent problem with spam being sent by a few new members, It is believed that humans are registering to satisfy the requirements and then activating a "bot" to send hundreds of SPAM messages via the PM system.
So far it seems that only 2 accounts have been sending SPAM, and both of them have been removed, The developer of the forum software has released a patch and this has been implemented, this will hopefully stop any further problems with SPAM.

Hi guys,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
We did have a similar attack here, and have implemented a couple of control measures.
I believe invision, (who wrote the forum software), have a large upgrade/update coming soon with improved security and usability, so we'll have that running soon!
Thanks again,

Dave
