You'll have to polish the rest of the car now :)

In the middle of that now - I don't like it, make it stop.

One panel has burnt through and needed repainting, not sure why the paint was so thin there but what can you do, it's nearly 6 years since it was painted!

It was a nice day for a drive today, Mutley disagreed and puked thru his pot joint.

This joint has seen 100 miles. :/

No idea, after we left you it started smoking very lightly. Pulled over and it looked like a oil was dripping onto the CV and being flung onto the manifold causing the smoke, it didn't seem to warrant immediate attention, then late this afternoon after jacking it up it was clear it was coming from the CV. Hurrah!

We've done a few hundred miles now and are starting to undo some of the decisions we made during the build. Nothing really major at the moment apart from this....

The rear beam and coil-overs just aren't good for the road. We don't do a lot of miles but it's just not fun. There will be lots of 'I told you so' moments but it was a decision made too long ago to worry about. Just let it be a lesson to others - what's good for the track can be terrible for the road.

After a false-start (i.e. we only made it halfway around the track due to a missing locknut on the clutch plunger) we finally, after all these years, completed a session around Castle Combe.

And now we're back to proper suspension at the front....

And it continues. We've got the 12" Mambas for sale because....

We're going to 10" wheels. Should be fun!

We changed plans a little.

When we looked at how much it would cost to get the wheels refurbed by someone I trust and added on new rubber, it wasn't far off the cost of a new wheel and tyre package. So the Mambas will get used as all-weather boots while these will get used on sunny days...
