what is everyone using on the final drive and sprocket?
I have the standard set up at the moment myself.
I'm running the standard set, the fast set is too much for daily use for me.

I'm going to try it at the track day coming up the week after next - should suit the track well as the terminal speed is something like 105 to 110 MPH on the longest straight in my STi...

Tooth count? i was running a 18/18 (front and rear) and went to a 17/18 - helps with standing starts as the ratio is lower, but lost 4MPH at 6000RPM in 6th (56MPH at 6000RPM in 6th)...

Hi guys
I´m running a 18th sprocket because of a 28 step chain for 17th sprocket, become too long. I´ve tried to shorten it to 27 steps but then it´s too short to join and a 28 one is too much loosen . How did you fit it?
You can see how fast the car is with a 18th at guadix circuit in Spain in promotive page, or a new one:

As you can see, 6th gear never works (5th gear at end of main straight). Other tracks with longer straights surely need a 18, even 19th sprocket.
Cheers

Yes. Often three wheels, almost two wheels. Mini miglia suspension set up.
Front wheels are always slipping, because of LSD is no fitted yet, but Tran-X is coming!
Finally I´ve given up to fit a 27 step chain. Even diff was loosened to gain a couple of mm, but It can not be joined. We´ll see how 28 step chain and 17th sprocket work this sunday.
Cheers

Any news on how that chain set up worked in sunny spain?
I have 16/16 and will be running 13" wheels.
I´m running 10´´ wheels.
Finally chain couldn´t be fitted in 17th sprocket, and we had to use a 18th one again. Next time I´ll try to release diff before joining. By the way, higher tyres pressure, softer suspensión in front and harder in rear made a wonderful running, almost 3 sec faster.
Cheers
