The only bits I need are a crank (Nitrocarbonised and x-drilled) and a new cam (piper 266 or kent 276 not sure :nugget: )
I basicly would like to know, when buliding the enigne what sort of things would I need to watch out for etc, and does anyone have a engine buliding manual?
Also As its just the lump no leccies etc..
What dizzy would you guys recommend?
Its going in a 1980 pickup, and its going to be used on the road (town and open)
Cheers

Silly i know, but if your gonna order other stuff then it may be justifiable.
Or i think there are some people on here that live quite close to then and may be kind enough to pop in and get you one.
Or you could try ringing and see if they would post through royal mail? :erm:

If following that guide results in an engine built the way that Minisport build engine's then I'd steer well clear of it!
Calver did a pretty good series of articles in Mini Magazine on engine assembly, you can get them on back issue from Mini Magazine or you could find them on Calvers website, Calvers Corner.

Unless you're using adjustable timing gear or offset woodruff keys, then you there's not alot to worry about as the timing is set. If it's the cam timing, that is otherwise don't worry at all..
