Hi all
ive been offered a metro 1.4si, was wondering how hard/easy it is to stick it in my mini? what else would i need to do?
any ideas

Well that's a little simplified!

The 1.4 Metro engine isn't an A series it's a K series so it's not a straight swap for the engine currently in your car. There are kits available to be able to fit a K series into a Mini from some engineers, or you can make the various parts and adapt mountings yourself. It's not a simple job to get it all lined up and slotted in to the right alignment but it's not that complex either if you're willing to keep trying and don't rush at it without enough planning.
