Hi,
Looking for some help. I've got an 1990 RSP Cooper with side mounted radiator. I'm stuck trying to replace the big bolt at the bottom of the radiator. I just can't line it all up to tighten it back into place.
I get it through the front of the bracket, through the housing on the bottom of the radiator, but can't line it up and the back.
Any tips - there must be an easy way to do this.
Thanks Folks. :cheese:

make sure the bolt is lightly greased, and trial fit it into the bracket with the rad out, so you know the threads are ok.
Then make sure it slides through the rad off the car. Then slide the rad into the bracket, and slide the bolt through the hole. Give the rad a bit of a shake front to rear while applying pressure to the bolt, you should feel it slot into the hole, then turn until the threads engage, tighten by hand as much as you can (to ensure the threads aren't crossed), then tighten with a ratchet as normal.
Thats how I've done it every time!!
hope it helps
