What I want to know is why a 8.3 Dodge Viper is "only" getting 500bhp, It should be getting 830bhp!!
Give it to the Japanese and it would be 1660bhp!!
What's the most bhp you can get from a 998cc?

tooo true
I guess the doge prob hasn't be 'tuned' and the gearing maybe low...
Look at a landy, 6 litre lump only 3-400BHP! still can't see any point on why woman want them.... 5 miles to the gallon!
No wonder the fuel prices are high!

I think a Range Rover has 280bhp from a 4.6, but because its so heavy it needs torque for off-roading, so gearing is different, also four-wheels drive saps power, that didnt stop the FQ400 though!!!
The Range Rover sport is closer to the mark, something like 400bhp from a s/c 4.2 Jag engine (from the XJR & XKR)
The new Disco weighs 2.7 tons, its just on the weight restriction for San Francisco!!
I wasn't aware of there being a 6.0 landy!!

I think you'll find fuel prices are high because of the 70% duty in the UK
Gordan Brown
Its a good thing most mini's do about 40mpg
A Hummer H2 does 1 mile to the gallon when you hammer it (So I saw on Top Gear)
If your mini did that it would only go 7.5 miles before it ran out of fuel, you would see the fuel guage visiable moving down
