Hey Guys,

Well im trying to do everything i can do, that needs doing on my mini myself, not just to cut costs, but also for the learning experiance! :grin:

I want to spray my shell, im getting a compresser during the week, and will also need to get the spraying equipment!

My main questions are;

1. Can any recomend spraying equipment?

Find someone that knows what they are doing and get them to come and help you (usualy a local sprayer aprentice will help out for a couple of quid)
so many home made projects are let down by a poor paint job , the owners seem blind to it ! runns ,sags,dry patches ,silicones,matt finish,miss matches and yet they seem proud "I sprayed it myself you know" but it looks like they filled thier mouth with paint and spat at it ! :lol:

Good man for DIY'ing!

i did mine myself! i'd recommend finding an old bonnet or someting first to practice on becausei did my boot lid, front end then my roof and it got better as i went on!

we bought two spray guns (one cheap one and one expensive one) and i defo think you get what you pay for so try and get the best you can afford.

And also clean everything thoroughly after every use! don't want it clogging! :grin:

speak to BMM as well tho!
