Can any one tell me what diff is best to start with when making your own chain driven diff? ive read sierra diff's are used?

I did a search on here but as usual it came up with a whole load of stuff...

And if any one has any details on making one that would be useful aswell.

The favourite for chain diff making seems to be the fiesta/escort diff, the Sierra diff can also be used as I have done this myself, well I sent it to Zcars and they converted it for me.

This guy sells the necessary parts to do conversions to various diffs

Also found this about a person who did his own conversion
