Hi Bumpstarters,

I'm about to put my Mini back on the road and bring it down from Derbyshire (where it is currently skulking in my parents garage). I want to get involved with a local Mini group - when and where do you guys meet?

hello we meet teh first sudnay of every month at saldsbridge pub i think, im sure soem one willt ell em of for egttign tiw orng but im sure tahts whats teh places is called.

we usually go out as a group during the month and a run about or to local shows, but yeah pop along on one of the meets or keep your etye open on either this page or search for us on face book, we ussualy put up all teh events on there.

We meet on the first Sunday of every month at the Slades house Sladesbridge nr Wadebridge about 7ish ..If you need a phone number nearer the time

As Minijoe says, we meet the first sunday of each month at 7pm in the Sladeshouse (its practically opposite Trelawney Garden Centre)

Sounds good to me! I've been living down here for three years and last year I bought my old 97 Mini Cooper back off my brother, who has traded down to a Ford Focus. The Mini has been SORN for the last 18 months or so and gathering dust in my Dad's garage in Derbyshire. It has a few bodywork issues and I need to put a new battery in, but otherwise it's a goer (or it was before the battery died...). I'm trying to find somewhere watertight to store it down here, so far to no avail (suggestions welcome!!).

Here's a photo of it from about five years ago.

Can't believe it's a year since I started this topic and I still haven't shown my face! We finally got the Mini back on the road at the end of May for an epic road trip back down to Cornwall, and we used it as the main transport at our wedding in Falmouth last month. I'm hoping to get to Probus next weekend so I'll hopefully finally get to meet some of you.

we do have our own forum ,but some of us prefer this one .
we still meet at the slades house country inn ,at wadebridge near the garden centre ..
we will all be at the wheels show at the royal cornwall show ground wadebridge on sunday 18 july
