A better version of THIS from Machine mart, and a bucket of aluminium grit.

I've got a set of polycarb rear side windows, and flexiglass front side windows if you're interested. The rears are fixed obviously, but the fronts are Mk1 sliding style, but made bigger to fit Mk3 onwards doors.

PM if you're interested.

I'll tally up how much it all cost me and then get back to you. I have all the little gubbins like the window catches, conversion channels, clips, etc. You'd just need the rubber channels that the front windows sit in.

I was wondering about the windows for cars like this, so they're plastic then?

Not sure what engine conversions would actually fit a minus, with there being less space and all. Obviously there are ways and means - promo would fit, hmmm :D

i always thought the promotive R1 subframe kit looked really low in the engine bay (but then again i've only seen pictures)... maybe it would fit a minus?

good luck with the progress, looks like a great project!

Cheers mate >_< . Yes the promo kit doesn't take up an awful amount of space in the 'bay, so it might be a simple conversion.

yep, pretty low but the flip side is the sump hangs real low too so if you're planning on running the minus low, then you'll get sump issues

Interesting ideas folks :shy: And it will definitely be low :P

Done a bit more today on the Minus. Started to tidy up the shell by sanding down any remaining fiberglass from previous repairs etc, then fiberglassed up and holes which look a bit :dontgetit: . The rear seat area looks better anyways.

Need to find out the requirements for spraying fiberglass now. Really want to get that done ASAP so we can start to build it up. Looks like I've got some placcy windows sorted, and FG doors from The Stig :(

Good news! (I think) ;)

Managed to find a DOUBLE garage we can use to pretty much finish the minus off. Its at my Aunties old house, but she still owns it, about 4 miles from me as well :). Full heated and lit, even has an engine crane in there! Dads going to go down at the weekend while I'm at IMM to see if he can clear some space. Would be ideal though - Mum got a bit peed when we said we were going to spray the car in the garage :(

Done a bit more fiberglassing on the shell, floors now done and a couple of crappy bits on the top dash rail. Not far off being sprayed now.
