These guys specialise in Fezz and Lambo reps but I noticed they're now doing mini bike engine conversion kits. Couldn't find any mention on the web of experience - anyone seen or heard anything about them?

Front engined front drive bike engined kit £3k (includes sub frame, chains & adjuster, differential, drive shafts, exhaust, radiator, gear lever, reverse and coil over)

Website looks a bit off. Their sign up on the building even looks like it´s photoshop. Email adress is Hotmail. Dunno about these guys. Probably just started their business?

Google earth shows no buildings like that in Ropery Street.


Extreme cars had a big presence at the kit car show at Stoneleigh, pretty sure it was them with one of the most impressive Lamborghini replicas i have ever seen, they also had the Hayabusa Smart car and a rear engined mini, again Hayabusa i think.
The mini had a very good quality paint job, the mini and the Smart car had a barrier around them and you couldn't get very close, this was a separate part of their stand and seemed to be unmanned, so no one to give details, just a notice saying "coming soon" and some leaflets.

I've no idea on the mini or smart conversions, but extreme have been around for many years. In the kit car scene they made the best 355 kit for the mr2. They've developed quite a few different kits now. There isn't much information on their site about the smart or mini kits, but if you go to their forum you'll get some information. It seems a few people have already bought the kit.

I am looking to fit an R1 engine into a car. I would have liked to have done it to the smart car, but the smartuki kit was way out of my price range. I bought a mini mayfair as the kit is much cheaper. Looking at the price they're doing the smart kit for I might sell my mayfair automatic and go for the smart kit as I think it will work out cheaper in the long run. I wont need to spend money trying to sort rust etc on a smart.

I called the guy and had a brief conversation with him.
He seemed nice enough. He mentioned that pictures were going up on the web in about 2 weeks and the kits should be available in about 8-12 weeks as they are still testing and making sure everything is sweet.

hhmmm I will be keeping an eye out for this one. I just would like a kit that is legal here on the roads in Sydney, Australia. So far only the Pro-Motive is but I would like options. Not planning to buy one for up to 12 months anyway, by my 31st birthday in May is my goal to have a kit and start working on it as I keep putting it off.

On a different note, for those that mentioned they knew of my rgv500, I won the readers choice award for best modified bike of the year, against all those turbo bikes. Long live the 2 strokes
