Right friday week the mechanic will be coming for a run in the mini to check out the noise.

I suggested maybe its the inner cvs and he said thats very rare but a possibility.

The word ' rare' does not mean that it doesn't happen so should not be overlooked

i had this after replacing pretty much every component. talk about head scratching

turned out the upper subframe mount was loose due to a perished mounting, it had desintigrated.

Dont want to be a parrot and say sounds like cvs. lol

Get the car over to mine and I will try work out what it is. Mini is stripped down again at moment and might even have the bits to fix it.
