ok so my mini is getting a little tatty round the edges so have decided that in the near future i want to get it resprayed but have decided to give it a go myself.

i just need to know what the best thing to do is. the car is diamond white

should i take the whole car back to bare metal or just key the origional paint?

whats the best paint to use and where can i get it?

whats the best way to go about getting rid of small bits of rust and small dents?

what sort of equipments will i need ie what size compressor?

it would be really great if you could give me some tips as i want to do the best job i can!

to be fair ,you cant cover re-spraying a car in a how to guide
it would take a whole book
A good start would be to buy the haynes book on bodywork and spraying .

This is the sort of thread you'll find if you search back, plus lots of other advice, but like the other guys said you're talking about volumes of info!
