About time you updated this JD :)

I'm liking the collection of parts, keep it up man :)

I showed Abbi the picture of the boot floor, and she said it looked like our oven grill pan :( I soon corrected her :)

Wow, that's gorgeous. How is it fixed into place? what are you doing with the battery?

1. The carbon floor will overlap all the edges except wheer it sits up against the bulkhead so i'll fix it down by drilling a few holes through the carbon and steel, one at each corner and 2 or 3 between the corners and bolt down with some stainless nuts and bolts with bead of sealer along under the edge of the carbon before tighting it down to seal the edge.

2.The battery will to have another home and will sits on the floor in front of the rear passenger seat on the left hand side of the car. I will be routed all the lines (fuel) down the inside centre of the car, i'll leave the brakes how it is, unless it cause problems, i'll move them in as well.

3. I'll be fitting a Allard tank, either 8 or 10 gallon tank that will sit on top of the carbon fibre boot floor, although that'll be done once the body & electrics are done.

Thanks mighty mini jack- i cant wait to get back home and take close up pictures of the boot lid and miglia arches.

Thanks for that guys, awesome work :D. Just need to get the final few bits and bobs together so its ready to go to the garage for lots of welding and then the fun begins !!....hopefully i don't run into bad luck !, its been set back after set back over the last few weeks. One of the garages have delayed the date at which i can have the new panels welded so still waiting for them to get back to me. Hopefully soon...

I was briefly at home (in and out the house) to take some quick pictures on my mobile phone, as i forgot to bring down my digital camera.I got a few of the carbon fibre boot lid and carbon fibre miglia wheel arches. These pictures are not the best but are temporary.

I'll get better ones up and take the pictures outside in the open as they look really good.

Just for reference the gear linkage roll pin is easiest to get out in reverse.
I just used an old 'precision' screwdriver - perfect. :genius:

Keep at it dude!

All in due time miniQ, its turning into a house full of car parts which is good!

I was thinking of putting it under the bumper, I'll have to mount the new exhaust lower as it may get in the way. Just waiting on a date from the garage to have the new panels welded on then I can crack on with things.....slowly does it :(....still need to do my big minispares order which I should have done already but the "need to buy list" is getting higher.

I'll keep that in mind daemonchild. Thanks for all the postives guys
