Got a reply from Chris, the rear doorcards have had to have been redone due to the difficulty of fitting ply rear doorcards. That's fair enough, just wish I was told last week!

Quoted lead time was 21 days, 37 days later I still haven't received the stuff. Ok the rear door cards have had to be redone which isn't a problem, but 16 days to make 2 rear door cards seems a little excessive.

And emails seem to be being ignored all the time, I know they've been read because of the message tracker on TMF, but I rarely get a reply.

Getting to the end of my tether with this. :D

And please, the excuse of 'being busy' is getting very old very fast. A business is a business, lead times are lead times regardless of if you are busy or not. We are busy with the polycarb windows, but 99% of the time emails are replied to same day, and if it's not the same day it's the next morning. We're the same sort of set up as Retro Retrims, no employees, no massive factory, just 3 of us.

All I want is a delivery date, not asking too much I don't think after such a long time!?

I can understand where youre coming from, id be annoyed too, but when hes says hes busy, he seriously is busy, hes up till half past two some mornings working on products. :D

It'd be fine if leads times that were quoted were kept to. If they can't be, then extend the lead times! Don't fool people into thinking they'll be getting stuff within 3 weeks and 5 weeks later still nothing!

I'm not the only one with an issue by the way, but it's not my place to explain somebody elses situation. All being well they will post up again soon.

And Chris hasn't said to me he's busy, everybody else on this thread has!

I couldnt care less if he is busy or not to be honest. I paid for my order over 6 weeks ago. If he hasnt got the common courtesy to e-mail his customers back when he has taken their money then he doesnt deserve to have a business. Funny how he e-mailed me back the same day when I wanted to place an order but now im querying my order he doesnt respond? :(

Got my stuff through today. Although it did take quite a bit longer than expected, the quality is excellent.

And got a couple of free bits too as I did have to wait so long.

Just seen the thread that you guys are talking about. I am waiting for an order for 10 weeks now, Chris has ignored that last few emails I have sent him. I just want him to talk to me and tell me what the problem is because the longer I have to wait to more concerned I'm getting.

I totally agree. 3 weks lead time for orders but he can't meet that, surely if he had a problem with supply and demand he should contact people to extend the lead time. i'm sure he does quality work but the wait is getting toooooooooooo long!

i sent an email to retro retrims yesterday and they replied very quickly
i was after a quote for aset of seats and door cards etc everythin i need for my interior to be re done
however i cant for the life of me get the email open so i have no idea what it says anyone else had this problem

Key word "quote", they always reply to those quickly!
