When I'm done, I'm going to have my Racing Flame back to original EXCEPT:

- Stage-1 Kit (it highlights the 'racing' element... ahem.)
- White minilite alloys (I hate the original white hub caps (sorry!))

There can't be that many left can there?

White minilites were an option for the racing series. Aswell with the cooper convertion, spots, overriders and many other stuff.

the best cars to modify are the late mayfairs as there were loads produced


That's exactly what we're doing. The mayfair is getting wide wheels, and so on... while the Racing Flame is going back to his former glory.

Looking a bit sad at the moment though...

As said - they probably made more LEs than non-LE Minis in the 80s (bad sales for Minis). Not surprising at all! >_<

Dont forget the Italian job >_< Mine is totally standard apart from a white roof :crazy: which is going to get sprayed.

I have a pretty much standard grey Equinox - being resprayed (orig colour) at the mo but will post pics once he's back.
