Went to Hampshire a few weeks back and picked up a designer shell from Matty4113, that had had a front knock, and other problems.

All so I could have a go at doing a trailer.

So yesterday I thought I would make a start, once I had removed the glass, I finally remembered to get the camera and take a few shots, of the progess made. Not bad as I had never used an angle grinder before.

Remains to get rid of (any ideas anyone?)

Can I just send the log book of myself, saying its scrapped, or does it need doing by a scrap dealer?

Not a bad start eh!

Make the front A BBQ. And if the door are in good nick then sell them. Look like you've made a good start. Im looking at making my self a trailer ready for IMM 2010. Good luck cant wait to see it finished.

Looks like a good start. What are you aiming to end up with? Obviously a trailer but a bog standard one or something with a twist?
Yes you can send off the logbook yourself, just tick the box, date it and post, simple.
With what's left I would sell everything you don't need to recoup the cost of the shell.
Check out my mini trailer with a difference project thread if you want inspiration or just to see how its done. Any questions just ask :D
Enjoy!

I would love one of these, how much has it set you back so far?

I have a spare few quid and to be honest would kill for one of these!

If anyone wants some bits, I do have a bent, cut down, but otherwise rust-free shell, subframe, rear lights, wheels, bootlid, and rear wiring harness, (basically all the 'donor' parts), near Sudbury in Suffolk. All you need to do is cut it to the length you want, put a tow hitch on, and plate the front and top.

PM me, as I'll forget to look in here again!
