Bit of an update! Kitkat currently looks like this! Filler/ prep work is getting there at the back...









But I still have a lot of the car to go after...


Boot floor is getting there too... Just a few more area's to do!

Looka almost up to paint from here, and I have to say, filling and sanding in the boot is above and beyond !! Are you going for an top finish with the extra effort in the boot?

Yep, the rear is startng to get to that stage! Just got a few more area's to complete the filler at the back, and then it should be done!
Hahaha! I'm doing a colour change from Jet Black to Diamond White... So everywhere (Including the floors and boot floor being Gravitex'd) will be painted in body colour! Hopefully it will be worth it in the end!
I'm really happy with progress so far! It's looking like I will have it painted by late December/ early January at this rate!

Well bit of an update! Been busy with the ol' Filler and getting Kitkat prepped
Here are some pics...

Rear Quarter is getting there


Rear end is pretty much there





I then had a problem when I tried to remove one of the rear subframe bolts that had snapped... I took soo much persuasion and welding and snapping and more welding.. but it finally came off!





Will update next weekend hopefully! Aim to get drivers rear quarter done, and finish off the passenger's rear quarter- which doesn't require as much work!

Prep work is starting to take shape! Rear end and quarter panels are getting there!









Bulkhead is all stripped, and have started to sandblast it all back (No pics yet!)

Not much to update! Prep work is coming along nicely! The bodysell is pretty much all in primer, few more places that need attention... Floors, Engine bay and underneath, but apart from that.. Getting there!
Got a quote for paint, so the aim is to have the shell ready for early January for painting, then re-assembly for late February/ early March! Working around Sixth Form and Part Time job etc!
Will post up some pictures soon!

Wow this hasn't been updated in ages!
Had a busy year doing my AS's and juggling stuff around, learning to drive and fitting lots of shows and things in. Anyway.. Kitkat is currently looking a bit like this..

 

 

Rough prep is complete, it's pretty much all sealed and in grey primer for the time being; just working on the shell now to get it ready for paint, it's currently on it's side having the floors primed and prepped, but hopefully we should be there in the next few months!
I have loads of bits to come up for sale on here so keep an eye out if you need anything! :)

wow, kitkat has come along.  Ive not been on here for about 20 months as sold my mini.  However just bought another so watch this space for a new thread Glad i kept this in my topics to follow :)
