Hi all,

This is gonna be a really weird post. Got a 93 rio.

I've changed my indicator stalk and must of done something wrong. The headlight flasher works as doe sthe horn, but the indicators don't. When the stalk is attached to the main bracket thing, they click left and right fine, but the indicators dont operate >_< Anyone I thought I'd upload some pics of what I've done incase anyone spots anything wrong, which is probably a long shot but youre my final hope :)

Thankiiiiiiiies for any help really need it

Also if i attach it to the bracket too tight you can't move the indicator stalk but im guessing thats normal.

I took the spindle bit that cancels the indicators for the photo by the way.

Really am stuck here.

Actually come to think of it, could anyone kindly point me in the direction of where these two little parts go?

It's not a good idea to dismantle the stalk unit as you've found out.

I once took one apart and it took me and my misses some time to get it fitted back together again.

The indicators work by means of a small oblong piece of metal that's held in place by one of the plastic buttons and a spring. You have to put the components together and drop that small oblong piece of metal through the hole, fit the plastic buttons and springs back in place and then try and get the cover back on without letting the components move.

It's damned fiddly and I can't even see that oblong piece of metal in your pictures, so you've either lost it or it's sitting in the wrong place and held in by some grease.

Oh yes and I forgot to say that it's the ball bearing that's put in place after the small piece of metal.
